"Ocean Dream" Pendant/Brooch. This incredible Chrysocolla Octopus with his chatoyant Moonstone eye is a collaboration between Crevoshay and renowned carver Glenn Lehrer. Completely hand fabricated in 18 Karat gold, the tendrils are made in layers with both bright and satin finishes. The stones are bead, bezel and prong set. The eye of the octopus is bezel set and attached to the back with a handmade screw. The back is bright finished, pierced and engraved. Too add greater functionality the jewel can be worn as a pendant, brooch or be added to strings of beads as a clasp. The restrained use of granulation and the slightly exposed jump rings provide just enough texture to balance the design and animate the creature.
