Answers:
I am getting an error message "Incorrect login or password. Please choose another and try again" (back to top)
This can mean several things:
- Case-sensitive words are not properly used. Both username & password are case sensitive.
Solution: check keyboard caps lock function. If locked, then unlock and retype username & password with appropriate Upper/lower case spelling. Hence "startrek" is different from "Startrek" or "starTrek"
- Incorrect username or password.
Solution: Type in correct username & password. If you cannot remember or are uncertain, click on "trouble logging in" and request it be sent to you.
- Incorrect logging in area.
Solution: Once you have an account, use only the left column with title "Log in" to enter your account; not the right column for registration>
I am getting an error message "The login name you selected is already in use or is not valid. Please choose another" (back to top)
Always use the "check availability" button to double check your username:
- username can be taken by another user
- you cannot use 2 words in a username
- you cannot use symbols like "&" or "%" etc in your username: only letters and numbers are allowed
- DO remember if you used lower or uppercase in your username: "staburcks" is not the same username as "Starbucks" or "starBucks"

To prevent spam, we only allow 1 username per email address. To open multiple usernames you need to use different email addresses for each username.
I forgot my password and/or my username (back to top)
Click on the "register/login" link in the right top
Click on "trouble logging in?" link in the pop up
Enter username (case sensitive!) or email address
Your password or username will be sent to you.
I want to change my password (back to top)
Click on the "my account" link in the right top of your page
Click on "Change passwords"
Enter old and new password
Press Save

Email the Farlang Support team
Please provide your username, name and original email address. As a double check we also ask you to provide us one of your last additions in e.g. "my favorites" or "bookmarks".
Artists, designers etc: please provide us with username and your full name. We will check the membership list.
I want to change my username (back to top)
Unfortunately that is not possible at this point in time.
For artists, designers etc: through your profile you can add company name, personal name and the specific name for your url. Your username is purely used to login and logout.
