Fake Notification Emails
Look out for fake emails that look like they came from Farlang. These typically include links to phony pages that attempt to steal your login information or prompt you to download malware. Never click on links in suspicious emails.
Fake Product Offering or Special Sales Emails
Farlang.com is not an e-commerce site with "specials" or "special offers" or "partnership with other e-commerce sites" such as for electronics, viagra etc. We do not send out such emails and if special partnerships are closed, or special "offers" or activities requiring your participation are launched they will also be co-published on a www.farlang.com page itself and/or on one of the official Farlang pages in the social media such as Linked, Twitter, Facebook.
419 Scams
Watch out for messages from friends or others claiming to be stranded and asking for money. These messages are typically from scammers. If you have received a message like this, or one has been sent from using one of the email addresses as listed on Farlang (for example from an artist a dealer etc.) please contact us so we can make sure your account and that of others are secure.
