"assembly line" method, then it is sincerely hoped that their attention
will be focussed on the cutting and polishing on similar lines, of the
larger sizes and qualities of goods which are at present not being cut,
and which form the bulk of the world's diamond productions and are the
bread-and-butter goods of the industry as a whole in normal times.
