To this decoction are now added pomegranate and apple extracts, white
sugar and citric acid. When the qiwam is properly set, sodium
benzoate, dissolved in a little water, is added. The qiwam is heated to
boiling, taken off the fire, and stirred till it whitens. Now the pearls,
green agate, Vateria indica and mineral bezoar are added during
stirring. Last of all, the silver foil is gradually added and mixed. The
khamira should be preserved in glass/chinaclay container.
Dosage and administration: 3— 5g. twice daily (morning and
evening).
Uses and indications: Same as in khamira marwarid but more
effective than the former.
