Rosa damascena (gul-i-Surkh)                                                   20 grams

Sodium benzoate (nitrun bunjawi)                                            2 grams
Am bra grasea (ambar ashhab)                                         600 milligrams
Musk (Mushk)                                                                              5 grams
Pandanus odoratissimus, syrup (arq Iteora)                               800 ml.
Preparation: The herbal ingredients and abresham are soaked overnight in 2'fz litres of water and warmed in the morning till only Vi litre
oi water remains. The decoction is filtered through a cloth and heated
again with white sugar to boiling. The decoction is taken off the fire,
sieved through a cloth, and the extracts along with citric acid are added,
and re-heated till a qiwam almost forms. The ambergris is added at this
stage, and, when the qiwam forms, the sodium benzoate, dissolved in a
little water, is added, and the qiwam re-heated to boiling. Taken off
the fire, it is stirred till its colour becomes almond-like. Now the
precious stones and other ingredients are added together with, last of
all, the Pandanus odoratissimus syrup, while stirring. The gold and
silver foils are added to the tthamira which is now ready and which
should be stored in chinaclay/glass container.
Dosage and administration: 3-5g. in the morning and evening.
Avoid sour edibles.
I'ses and indications: (i) Cardiac and cerebral tonic, (ii) Tranquillizer. (Hi) Same as in khamira marwarid and khamira marwarid khas.
