Preparation: All the dried medicinal ingredients, with the exception
of camphor, are seived through 80-mesh and made into sufuf. The kernels are sieved separately through 60-mesh and mixed into the sufuf. The white sugar is added to the sufuf, the mixture is sieved through ] 2-rnesh and sieved again after drying through 16-mesh. To the dawa is now added the camphor dissolved in alcohol, followed, in successive order, by the addition of the liquid paraffin, ground soapstone, and magnesium carbonate. Tablets of size No. 4 are made (each tablet = 750 nig.) which are preserved in glass jar. Dosage and administration: 3 tablets with 250 ml. of sharbat
aijaz in the morning. |
