Acacia arabica gum (gond kikar)

White sugar (qiwam shakar safaid)
200 grams
Liquid paraffin (sliam'iri)
5 ml.
Preparation: Salvia, asphalt and Acacia gum are ground and sieved
through 80-mesh and the calcined egg shell, ferric and tin oxides are
added to it. The white sugar is added to this mixture which is sieved
through 16-mesh, and again sieved through 20-mesh. To the dan'a
obtained are added the liquid paraffin, soapstone, and magnesium
carbonate. Tablets of size No. 2 (each tablet = 250 mg.) are obtained
and kept in glass jar.
Dosage and administration: 2 tablets with 250 ml. of milk before
breakfast.
i'ses and indications: (i) General tonic, (ii) Curative for spermatorrhoea.
