Dosage and administration: 30 mg. or one tablet with 5 g. of
jaicarish jalinus for use as a stomachic and liver restorative. It is
employed as an aphrodisiac, administered with cream or butter,
followed by 250 ml. of milk. In facial paralysis, paralysis, and rheumatism to be taken with honey.
Uses and indications: (i) Stomachic and liver tonic, (ii) Aphrodisiac.
'Hi) Useful in paralysis, facial paralysis, rheumatism, gout and catarrh.

Recipe
Copper dust (tambay L>a biirada)                                            100 grams
Capparis decidua juice Iab karir)                                            500 grams
Capparis decidua fruit (kachia phalj                                    5 kilograms
Cow-dung cakes (aphis)                                                      40 kilograms
Two large cow-dung cakes (do baray up lay)                  505 kilograms
Preparation: The copper filings, heated on coal-fire, are laid out on
the Capparis decidua juice. Next, the Capparis decidua juice and fruit
kachia phalj finely ground, are mixed with 10 kg. of the dung and two
such large dung cakes are dried. These are pierced and 1-inch x 1-inch
holes are made into which out of the 1 kg. of the Capparis decidua
juice and fruit kachia phalj! mixture, half (i.e. 500 g.) are covered with
the copper filings which are, in turn, covered with the remaining
Capparis decidua juice and fruit (kachia phalj mixture, this in turn
being covered with a cow-dung cake, and the whole lot tied with a
string. 30 kg. of this is spread out in a pit, and the large dung cakes are
placed on these. The remaining 10 kg. are placed sidewise and lighted.
When the fire is burnt out, the dung ash is removed and a white kushta
will appear. This is triturated, sieved and stocked in bottle.
Dosage and administration: 30 mg. (2 grains) with honey or cream.
Uses and indications: Useful in cough and asthma (ii)
Bronchodilator. (Hi) Antiarthritic and antiparalytic. (iv) Anticatarrhal.
iv) Appetizer, (vi) Aphrodisiac.
