(vi) The material is now, as before, made into 1g. lozenges, heated
in 2 kg. of the dung cakes and on cooling, triturated in the remaining
Aloe barbadensis juice and heated in 2 kg. of the dung cakes.
(vii) 1 g. tablets are made from this material which is triturated in
aqua Rosa damascena for one full day and heated in 2 kg. of the dung
cakes.
(viii) These five heatings would result in the appearance of a pinkish
knshta which is finely triturated, sieved and stocked in bottle.
Dosage and administration: 30 mg. or one tablet with 5g. of dawaul-misk rno'tadil jawahardar or lubub kabir, followed by 250 ml. of
milk.
Uses and indications: (i) General tonic, (ii) Cephalic, liver tonic and
cardiac stimulant, (iii) Stomachic, (iv) Nervine tonic.

Aqua Rosa damascena (arq gulab)                                             125 ml
Lotus seed kernel semi-ground (kanwal gitta)                        25 grams
Cow-dung cakes (uplas)                                                      10 kilograms
Preparation: The cornelian is finely ground, sieved and triturated
in a mortar containing the Rosa damascena. When the latter has beer
consumed, 1 0 g. tablets are made and dried. These cakes are submitted
to gil liikmat and heated in 5 kg. of the dung cakes in the open. When
the fire is burnt itself out, the cakes are triturated in a mortar. Now,
the Lotus seed kernal is heated in 100 nd. of water and seived. This
decoction is added to the cakes in small quantities accompanied by
trituration. When the water is consumed, 10 g. tablets are made and
warmed in a pit containing 10 kg. of the dung. On cooling, tincornelian cakes are taken out of the urn; they would be whitish. The
kushta is sieved and stocked in bottle.
Dosage and administration: 6 mg. or 2 tablets with 5 g. of knshta
kliamira marwarid.
Uses and indications: (i) Cardiac stimulant, (ii) Helps relieving
tachycardia, (iii) Styptic, (iv) Detersive for pulmonary wounds.
