Preparation: The tin, zinc and lead are placed in an iron pan and
heated. When these metals melt, pinches of the saltpetre are mixed into
the metallic mixture and stirred with the bamboo stick, till the entire
saltpetre is consumed. Heating is continued till the metals are roasted
and form oxides. The material is now cooled, triturated and heated in
3 litres of water and removed from the fire after the water boils. When
the material settles down, the supernatant water is decanted off and the
sedimented material is again heated in 2 litres of water but not to the
boiling point. The supernatant water is decanted off and the
sedimented material is triturated in the Aloe barbadensis juice and
made into 10 g. tablets. These tablets are submitted to gil hikntat and
heated in a pit containing the dung cakes. When the fire is burnt out,
the khaki-coloured kushta is ground, sieved and kept in bottle.
Dosage and administration: 60 nig. or 2 tablets with 10 g. of
majiin arad khtirma or butter.
Uses and uidications: Useful against quick ejaculation of attenuated
seminal fluid, and excessive nocturnal emission.
