Silver foil (ivaraq nuqra)                                                         250 grains
Aqua Rosa damascena (arq gulabj                                             625 ml.
Aloe barbadensis juice (ahghaikwar)                                         200 ml,
Cow-dung cakes (uplas)                                                      21 kilograms
Preparation: The silver foils are triturated in 250 ml. of the aqua
Rosa damascena till they lose their shine. Afterwards, 10 g. tablets of
the material are made and submitted in a flask to gil Iiikniat, after
which it is heated in a pit containing 3 kg. of the dung cakes. On
cooling, the tablets are triturated in 1 50 ml. of the Aloe barbadensis
juice, made into 1 0 g. tablets and after gil Iiikniat heated in 3 kg. of the
dung cakes. The cooled material is now triturated in 125 ml. of the
aqua Rosa damascena, made into 1 0 g. tablets, submitted to git Iiikniat
and heated in 3 kg. of the dung cakes. When the fire is burnt out. the
tablets are ground in 25 ml, of Aloe barbadensis juice, re-made into
1 0 g. tablets, submitted to gil Iiikniat and heated in 3 kg. of the dung
cakes. On cooling, the tablets are triturated in 125 ml. of the aqua
Rosa damascena, submitted to gil Iiikniat and heated in 3 kg. of the
dung cakes. This process is repeated with 125 ml. of the Aloe barbadensis juice and 125 ml. of aqua Rosa damascena. In all, seven
heatings are required. After the seventh heating the whitish knslita is
ground, sieved and stocked in bottle.
Dosage and administration: 60 mg. or 2 tablets with kliamira gaozaban anibari jawaliardar (5 g.) or In hub kabir (5 g.).
L'ses and indications: (i) Cephalic tonic, (ii) Cardiac stimulant, (in)
Liver tonic, (iv) Aphrodisiac, (v) Useful in spermatorrhoea and excessive nocturnal emission.

Ruby (yaqut surklij                                                                 1 00 grams
Aqua Rosa damascena (arq gulab)                                             750 ml.
Cow-dung cakes fuplasj                                                      30 kilograms
Preparation: The ruby is ground, sieved and triturated in 250 ml.
of the aqua Rosa damascena. When dry, the material is divided into
1 Og. tablets, put in to an earthen cup and submitted to gil Iiikniat.
On drying up the cup is heated in the open in 10 kg. of the dung cakes.
