Now
that the Sanci has been found and is so widely known it is to be hoped
that it will be kept always in view. Diamonds and heads are often
unaccountably lost in the seraglios of Asiatic princes, but we must
only hope that oriental potentates are now sufficiently enlightÂened to
understand that we, of the Western World, wish to be informed of
everything that happens, whether it be the fall of a dynasty, or the
sale of a diamond.
