Aquamarine, or Beryl.
the late Mr. Beresford Hope, exhibited for some years in the South Kensington Museum. It is covered with facets, and is unique both as a mineral and as an example of the lapidary's art This stone, which is said to have belonged to Prince Murat, weighs 3-1/2 ozs. There were also in Mr. Hope's collection some fine engraved Beryls.
