Exceptional discoveries of gemsDiamond.—la April, 1887, Mr. Lewis M. Parker, a tenant on the farm of Daniel Light, three-fourths of a mile northwest of Morrow Station, and 13 miles south of Atlanta, Georgia, found a diamond on the farm. The stone afterwards came into the pos­session of Mr. W, W. Scott, of Atlanta, who sent it to the writer for
