Quicksilver consumed at mills in certain Western States, 1916-1922.

Quicksilver consumed at mills in Colorado in 1922 amounted to 4,711 pounds, in New Mexico to 270 pounds, and in South Dakota to 7,500 pounds.
Dredges in California used about 7,000 pounds of quicksilver in 1922. The quicksilver used by other placers and at deep mines is estimated at 4,000 pounds, making a total of 11,000 pounds for California.
