" The consumption oi potassium cyanide was 185,764 pounds in 1916,137,658 pounds in 1917, 625 pound3 in 1918, 68,155 pounds in 1919 (17,884 pounds at mills in Arizona and 50,-271 pounds at mills in Nevada), 7,825 pounds in 1920 (7,800 pounds at mills in Arizona and 25 pounds at mills in Washington), 5,626 poundsin 1921 (Arizona, 4,200 pounds, Idaho, 600 pounds, and South Dakota, 826 pounds), and 6,610 pounds in 1922 (Arizona, 3,550 pounds, Idaho, 800 pounds, Montana, 1,030 pounds, Nevada, 230 pounds, Washing­ton, 1,000 pounds).
