The Tangibilitas Collection contains pieces that find their forms in nature and in the world. Some pieces are hand carved and then lost-wax cast, some are sand-cast, some are hand fabricated and then stitched with silk and pearls, some take their shapes from the sublime textures around us.

The Tangibilitas Collection pieces are not meant to be only aesthetically pleasing but are meant to convey texture through their tactile presence. They are often embellished with silk and pearls, echoing the textiles from which they are inspired or cast. They use enamel to accentuate shape and granulation, or delicate stones to render color and hue against the metal. They are to be touched and their surface texture enjoyed whether it is satin smooth or roughly drawn upon by a bur.

The Gold "Old Work" earrings are inspired by a line in Ezra Pound's poem "Portrait d'une Femme". They convey by their texture and shape the "riches" and the "wonderful old work," the "trophies" and the "rare inlays" that the seas hoard and then wash up on the beach of the world.
