Brookite on Quartz. 7,5 x 4 x 3cm. Kharan Mountain, Baluchistan, Pakistan. Mined spring 2011. The Main crystal is 32 x 14mm !!! It´s shows high lustre, red colour with some phantoms (maybe Chlorite). The habit is tabular with a pyramidal termination (unusual). The rock-crystals are also very glossy, some clear – a few with Chlorite-inclusions, which features a good contrast. The specimen is very showy all around and the quartz-crystals are well developed on both sides, so the display is very nice in every position. The Brookite shows perfect quality from both sides.
