Hedenbergite included quartz tends to be dull and matte-finished, with barely any color, from this locality - not so here. All these multiple stepped faces show perfect lustre, the crystals feature dark green colour. The specimen is clean of any damage, well developed all around and very showy in each position. The crystals form a star like assemble. the contrast to reddish Garnet (var. Andradite) is also very nice.
