The Dickson Group (International) Limited Company d/b/a/ Chopard. Chopard is a luxury watch, jewelry, and accessories company founded in 1860 by Louis-Ulysse Chopard. Today, the company is well-regarded in the watch-making field for creating luxury watches and mechanical complications. According to Yahoo! Finance, Dickson Concepts (International) Limited Company is a retailer and distributor of luxury goods in Southeast Asia (mostly Hong Kong). Its designer wares include luxury items from names such as Coach, Ralph Lauren, Brooks Brothers, Bulgari, Chopard. Dickson Concepts operates more than 350 stores (some through joint ventures) under various luxury names, as well as three Seibu department stores in Hong Kong. Sales are evenly split between locals and tourists. Group executive chairman Dickson Poon owns 54% of Dickson Concepts. The company announced in July 2006 that it's buying Tommy Hilfiger's Asia Pacific unit. |
